Charlotte Argue

Charlotte Argue is Senior Manager, Sustainable Mobility at Geotab, a global leader in fleet telematics. Charlotte’s focus is on enabling fleets in reducing carbon emissions with data-driven solutions, and sharing aggregated insights to inform large-scale vehicle electrification strategies. She is a subject matter expert in fleet electrification and a champion for connected vehicle technology solutions in the EV industry. Charlotte has been involved in electric transportation since 2009. Before joining Geotab she managed the Plug In BC initiative in British Columbia, delivering EV programs for fleets, charging infrastructure and public awareness. She currently sits on the board of NACFE (North American Council for Freight Efficiency).

Steffen Link

Steffen Link graduated in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Since 2020 researcher in the Competence Center Energy Technology and Energy Systems at the Fraunhofer ISI, where he focuses on the decarbonization of road transport. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree with the Institute of Electrical Engineering (ETI) at the KIT, where his research focuses on the techno-economic battery design for commercial vehicles including cell selection, battery capacity & charging infrastructure optimization.

Edward Heath

Edward holds a MSc degree from the Technical University of Delft, the Netherlands, and has been conducting research in the e-mobility sector at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences since 2021. His research thus far has included energy modelling and grid integration of electric vehicles.

Lloyd Ickes

First Student, Inc.

Lloyd Ickes is the Director of Charging at First Student, the largest operator of school buses in North America, with over 46,000 units in its fleet. Lloyd is a developer/program manager in commercial construction, infrastructure, and renewable energy markets with over 25 years of proven success. He has overseen all phases of multimillion-dollar construction, infrastructure development, and environmental projects for the U.S. Department of Defense, State/Local government agencies, and private shareholders. His experience includes managing all the planning, coordination, budget projections, project equipment/material needs evaluation, and deployment of assets/crews/3rd party vendors. Lloyd has held several leadership positions in the military and as an owner of a design-build construction company, developer, and owner representative at a local, regional, and international level, leading construction and program deployments on six continents.

Harm Weken is since 1995 managing Partner of FIER Automotive, a business development company in the international automotive sector, with focus on sustainable and electric mobility. Harm is co-founder/co-owner of GoodMoovs.com, the largest all-electric business-to-business car sharing program in the Netherlands and part of an EU network of electric car sharing programs. Harm supports electric mobility initiatives and the academic sector as board member, advisory council member and in scientific reviewing committees at universities and electric mobility foundations, in Europe and overseas. The core of the work of Harm and his company FIER, is (EU and national) project initiation and business development in electric mobility for private companies, public authorities and consortia. During recent years, the focus has been on: Stimulating electric vehicle (EV) uptake in fleet; Effectiveness of national EV incentives and policies; Stimulating electric trucks in distribution and inner-city freight and Electric car sharing and smart charging infrastructure.
