Since March 2020 Coordinator of Business Unit Energy Economy. Since 2020 private lecturer at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).

Florian Biedenbach, M. Sc. received his master's degree in renewable energy systems from the Technical University of Berlin in 2019. Since then, he has been a research associate at FfE in Munich (Germany), where he is working on the topic of electromobility. In the research project NEFTON, he is responsible for the simulation of charging scenarios. In the research project Trade-EVs II he is project manager. In his dissertation, he will deal with the multi-use optimization of commercial battery electric fleets.

Challenges and requirements of megawatt charging infrastructure for long-haul trucks

Having received his diploma in engineering and business administration in 2008, Mr. Buderath was a consultant for P3 automotive GmbH in Germany, with a focus on R&D Strategy and Organization. In 2013, he became the Head of P3 Trucks Product Engineering and Planning and held that position through 2021. Currently, he is responsible for Principal Strategy & Technology and is leading this sector for P3 USA inc., focusing on electric mobility. His team of engineers and consultants are working on the latest powertrain and charging technologies from early concept definition to market roll-out. His customers include OEMs, Tier 1 and 2, as well as financial investors.

Roland Ferwerda is director of the National Knowledge Platform Charging Infrastructure (NKL). NKL is an independent foundation that strives to realize an open and mature market for charging infrastructure in the Netherlands with governments, market parties, network operators and research institutions. Recent products include policy guidelines concerning logistics charging, a benchmark product to facilitate price transparency and requirements for contractual agreements for AC and DC charging. Roland is also director of the EVRoaming foundation, a global organization behind the open roaming protocol OCPI, and provides emerging countries and businesses with eMobility support through the startup GreenBee.
