Donald W. Hoard is the Director of Data Science, Analytics, and Quantitative Research at the Center for Sustainable Energy. He has a Ph.D. in astronomy from the University of Washington and worked as a researcher in observational astrophysics for 20 years before transitioning into applied data science, where he focused on analyzing and understanding user interactions with software and technology. He currently manages the overall Caret project as well as directly contributing to its development.

Ram Vijayagopal is a researcher and a group manager at Argonne National Laboratory. His area of expertise is vehicle technology evaluation. He is also a co-developer for Autonomie, the vehicle modelling and simulation tool developed & commercialized by Argonne. He received his MS in mechanical engineering from University of Michigan in 2008. He has worked as an engineer at Mahindra & Mahindra (India) and Hitachi Automotive Systems (Japan) on various hybrid vehicle development projects before joining Argonne.
